plankton (phytoplankton and zooplankton) which are necessary source of oxygen
production and natural food to the fish.
Some use it to turn water green which provide shade
to the bottom ,reduce the visibility of fish in a pond hence control predators
and help to prevent rooted weeds.
Fish do not depend entirely on artificial feeds upon
which a farmer produces but natural food plays essential part in fish
growth due to be riched with various nutrients which
some are not available in artificial feeds.

increase.

farming.
When feeding fish with commercial feeds, pond should
